Nirph CIS is a unique and highly effective customer identification system. This system is deployed throughout
the structures of a bank and manages all customer identification within the bank.
Nirph CIS forms the basis for all customer identification management and allows for future incorporation into
ATM’s, POS and secure online banking.
CIS also provides additional services to the bank: banks can easily handle employee payments and pension
payouts (proof of life). Through government services, banks can reliably issue identification documents and
even renew driver’s licenses, etc.
CIS FRAUD ID
Nirph CIS Fraud ID detects and eliminates fraudsters.The CIS Fraud ID system is incorporated in all CIS
technology. The system is composed of an advanced fingerprint live scan system that scans a customer’s
fingerprints, sends the data to the CIS server where the algorithm is extracted and matched against fraudulent
prints stored. When a match is found the system sends information to the CSD ID (Customer Service Desk)
and displays the suspicious individuals’ information on the officials’ workstation (Note: The fingerprint is the
ultimate identification, the photo is only used as a backup to assist in additional verification). The same
information is automatically e-mailed to the bank’s audit and internal control department with detailed
information at which workstation and by which bank official the fraudster was detected.
This will enable the bank personel to handle the matter according to processes set in place by the bank’s
internal audit department.
NIRPH ENCOMPASS
Nirph Encompass forms part of the Nirph CIS data capturing and data verification system. This system allows
the capturing and management of customer information via a secure web interface across the bank’s intranet
infrastructure.
After a customer has completed a compliancy form and is enrolled (with photograph and fingerprints), the
CIS ID system produces a reference number which the bank official then writes on the form tying it uniquely
to the enrolled customer record. The form is then sent to the backend for capturing into the secure online
Nirph Encompass system.
NIRPH ATM SOLUTIONS
Nirph has developed an ATM add-on module for customer identification on the ATM. The unit currently fits
on to the standard range of ATMs.
Banks that purchase the ATM module will also need to have CIS implemented in their bank as CIS forms the
foundation for the customer identification platform.
